'What An Awesome Night' by Lauren Hender

Hello Everyone!!!

When we think of bold bright colours and bold sassy statements the only brand that comes to mind is the wonderful Flutterby Designs.

My daughter recently danced at a Bollywood Night. It was so much fun, all the bold dancers and brightly coloured dresses made the night fabulous. As you can see in one of the photos below my daughter was mesmerised.

In this layout I have used the Flutterby Designs photo tabs, everyday etc cards, labels, enamel dots, phrase stickers and a flair.

Have fun scrapping!!

Lauren

"Beautiful Book Worm" by Sharmaine Kruijver

I love it when a plan comes together,
Don't you?
I've been hoarding the very cool book flair
And waiting to create this page of our book worm.

I used the new mini stencils with some coloured texture paste

Added some older Flutterby products
To some new
(Neon enamel dots and Everyday Etc Cards)

And even found the perfect Flutterby Quote Sticker to add to the page.

Yep #happy indeed!!

So pull out your stash,
Find the thing you've been hoarding
And create something today.

Partners in Crime | Sue Plumb

Hi Flutterby peeps!
I hope this find you all well! Today I am sharing a layout using pieces from one of my favourite Flutterby releases to date - 'Partners in Crime', and a photo of two of my best friends and I. This one was snapped last year at my 40th birthday party and as you can see, we really have no boundaries when we get together.

I started this layout by creating a custom background using the Flutter Colour Paints. (I love how perfectly every shade coordinates with the Flutterby goodies!) I simply used an old credit card to swipe some paints around my page (drying between each colour) and then drizzled the pink colour over the top.
You can also see where I used a couple of page tabs tucked in behind my photo.

This collection was made for my friends and I! We often talk about our "shenanigans", so as soon I saw this quote on one of the Everyday Etc cards, I knew it had to be a feature of this layout.

For my title, I used the Partners in Crime wood veneer piece, which I coloured black with a Posca pen. I also added the cute "together" flair button (from set 389) onto the corner of my photo, and nested it on some cotton thread.

To finish off my layout, I added some of the Confetti Circles wood veneer pieces to add some subtle dimension to my background. (I also coloured them black to coordinate with my title piece). I then splattered a bit of black mist and some stamping.

I love how easily this layout came together. (I also love that there are so many cards in the "Partners in Crime" card set to help me get through my pile of inappropriate photos with my friends! haha)

I will be back in a couple of weeks to share another of my Flutterby creations with you. Until then, happy scrapping! X

Don't give up - By Lauren Hender

Ok you have all seen the new release!! I bet you are in love with it..
Did you check out the new stencil?
I have used it in this layout with some paste and check out how awesome it looks!

I began this layout by simply painting some black Indian ink onto some white card. I then added the texture paste using the stencil and added the watercolour paint. Using the new release everyday etc cards I added some layers under my photo. Check out the glitter...awesome!!! I then accents using a flutterby flair, stickers and photo tabs and it all came together.

So all I can say is that if you have checked the Flutterby shop out recently then get on over there!!

Results & Addiction | Krisy Podolak

Hi Flutterby Lovlies,

Krisy here today to share with you another of my layouts using the NEW "No Excuses" Range.  As I said in my last post this range has really got me into gear for documenting my fitness journey that I have under taken since last October.

For this layout I drew inspiration from the pattern on the card behind the words. I wanted to create something a little similar.

Before you point it out, yes, there is a spot of black on my face.  I could have reprinted the photo but to be honest, I am happy for it to go in my album like that.  I can't see the point of wasting money printing another photo.  Random ink spots are part of the creative process for me.  Plus if this is the last photo ever left of me, that's unfortunate especially with how many albums I have made.

So, to start my layout, I set about making my background. I started by using the smooching or plastic bag techinique to get some colours onto the paper.  I used my Gelatos as they had a nice range of colours and I don't use them nearly enough as I should to justify the cost and the fact that my husband bought me the big set.  Over the top, I used a stencil to draw in some lines and then I painted them black.

Here is a bit of a close up with the colour and lines.

I then cut up my inspiration "Everyday Etc" Card into strips to make the title.

For some final touches, I used a frame from a die cut, a flair button and some Tabs from the NEW range.  If I had any more enamel dots I would have used them too.  I am not an enamel dot fan usually but the neon in this range has me hooked and waiting to order more. But like you, I have to wait until they are released in the Flutterbys Shop, no special favours here.

Here is another close up.

Thanks for looking today, what do you think of the new "No Excuses" Range?

"Create Cupcakes" by Sharmaine Kruijver

Who is excited that this Friday will be reveal day?
Have you spotted any of the new products yet?
I won't tell you what new things are on my page.
I'll let you see if you can spot them?!

This page came together really quickly

The photo is matted with Everyday Etc cards and a Photo Card
And added some splashes of Flutterby Colour Paint.

I dotted some heart stickers to look like sprinkles

Coloured the wood word with a texta and then a layer of clear nail polish

And used a flair for the second part of my title.

Easy as pie!
Or cupcakes!!!
Hope you get to enjoy some creative time this week
