Today I am sharing a special layout about hubby and I reaching our 22 years of being married!! WOOHOO!!

I don't know our secret, but for some strange reason I really love this guy 

and he really loves me. 

But does he love me as much as I love working with Flutterby Designs...LOL

I wanted to work with the new "Mad About You" range again 

and it was perfect for this photo of us. 

The "Mad About You" range is such a fun range to work with and there is so much of it to play with.

Home is where the CRAZY is....by Kylie Cornish

This month Flutterby Designs is a proud sponsor for Kraft+ Challenge blog.

And I threw my hands up in the air to take part of this months Challenge.

(PICK ME PICK ME moment.. LOL)

There is no place like home.

I could not wait to take part in this challenge, and Flutterby Designs had the right stuff for it. 

Straight away I knew I wanted to use the Everyday Etc "Happy Together" Photo Cards, specially the "Home is where the heart is" card....but hey we have more crazy in our home,  hence the cross out of the heart! This quote was perfect for my photo...because we are all a little bit crazy in this house!

Life sometimes can gets so busy, and specially now that I have become a working mum as my children are getting older. I don't always get the chance to do all the family things we use to do, and I don't have my camera out all the time.

Which can be sad for a scrapper that wants to scrap photos of her kids growing up, changing, evolving. 

But the one thing I do have is their friendship on their social media, and now thanks to that, they record their own journey and mum just every now and then pinches that quick snap they take to add to their scrapbook album. 

This layout is of my youngest who has an obsession with Instagram and thanks to a quick screen shot I can have a physical copy of a selfie just like that.

So my handy parental tip for mums that think they may miss out on moments in their older kids lives, be their friend on social media watch over them as you would their every day lives and you can still see them evolve and change into the person they will become, and you can still document it along the way.

Always Forgive Yourself (Art Journal Page) by Kylie Cornish

Some art journalers add quotes or sayings and some don't. 

I find myself being one that does and with the help with Flutterby Designs Snippet Strips, you can find just what you want to say on your page.

When I look at these sheets I see quotes that have meaning and can easily express just how I feel and this simple art journal page does just that. It shows that I as a person I should "learn my mistakes", "believe in myself" and one of the most important quotes on the page is ALWAYS FORGIVE MYSELF.

I also used one of the Everday ETC Cards with my trusty Square punches.

and to the 'Stargazed' Stencil.

So believe in yourself and get creative. 

Happy Mail by Kylie Cornish

There is nothing better then arriving home from work to find that happy scrappy mail has been delivered. Ok there maybe on more thing - a clean house, but that is just a dream! LOL

Today I wanted to share a layout where I used one of my Instagram images showing off my happy scrappy Flutterby Design mail. 

For something a little different I used some of the packaging cut offs on my page.

 I used the Flutterby Design logo from my Enamel Dots packaging and I also used the web address strip from my Everyday ETC Card sample card.

So yes we get amazing products when we buy from Flutterby Designs but we also get packaging that is very usable and just waiting to be added to a layout is some way or another.

My Favourite (Art Journal Page) by Kylie Cornish

I love using Flutterby Design products in my art journal.

I think what it is, is the Everyday ETC Cards have the best quotes/sayings, and don't get me started about the Flutter Colour Paints. I just absolutely love them, I love the grungy feel they give to any page or layout for that matter. 

Here I used the Flutter Colour Paint - Monochrome Set to not just squirt on my page, but also use an old loyalty card to add lines to my paper strips.

To help embellish my page I used some Wood Veneer. I just love the 

'Confetti Circles'  and the 'Small Stars' I really do like the detail on the small stars.

And then the final piece to finish the page off is the saying! Anita just knows what to say on these Everyday ETC Cards and you cant go wrong with using the 'PARTNERS IN CRIME' Everyday Etc Cards to express how you feel!

So there you have it an Art Journal page about how I feel when I hang out with my good friends. 

Got to love a "good" stomach ache!

Hello Flutterby peeps!! 

I am so lucky to have my own creative space in our house and being a family of 6 its truly a thing to not take granted.
But its my own little space where I can escape being a mum, wife and worker for a while and do the craft we all love to do!


This layout is completed with the new "Creative Chaos" range.

A perfect range for those who love to create and have a happy place just like me!
