Family || Bernii Miller

Helloooo

Happy Monday.. It's a new week and a new time for some Flutterby Designs inspiration.

Today I have a layout share for you using bits and pieces from the " We Are" collection. I used the filler cards to layer behind the photos over the "Got Letters" stencil that I used randomly in the background using modelling paste. I love the stencils as they are so sturdy and nothing seeps through even with the thickest of mediums.

Then to create the title I used the awesome " We Are Family" acrylic piece that was released with this collection. The teal colour is gorgeous.

I then scattered some flair on both the top and bottom flower clusters!! I do love me some flair and they are the perfect touch to any layout

I used used the adorable " Page Tabs" wood veneer tabs to tuck beside and under my photos. You can check those out in the store HERE

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you find some time in your week to get creative with your Flutterby Designs goodies.

Till next time
Much love

Cute AF- Chrissi M

Hello Lovelies
Chrissi here, back with another layout using the fabulous Magical AF Collection.
I had alot of fun with this layout. I wanted to show you how I have used the same collection to make a cute layout of my little niece, as well as using a pic of hubby and myself.
I started with some blue mist for my background, to make those blues in the collection pop.
I love this paper from the Magical AF paper Pack. I decided to try something different, and rip it diagonally and adhere  a piece to the top and bottom of my layout to give it some added interest.
I've said it before, I LOVE using the Every Day Etc Cards as titles and embellishments. They are just full of awesome quotes and funky images. I was obsessed with this one that originally said "I think you are Magical AF". I wanted to use it, but the magical didn't quite fit. So I cut the card up, and decided to add to my title using the Got Letters stencil.
Using more of those Every Day Etc Cards and the awesome page tabs to layer behind my photo. Love using these together to build up layers.
The Magical AF Collection is available in the store right now, check it out. The DT are having a ball with it.

tthats ot from me for now, Stick around for more inspiring projects soon.

#GIRLBOSS || By Elisa Ablett

Hi everyone,

Elisa here from the design team with my latest layout using a few bits and pieces from past collections and the bright colours of the gorgeous Flutter Paint.

So who is ready to STASH BUST before the next new collection?

To start my layout, I wanted to create a statement piece in the middle with the Flutter Paint and a Brayer. I also used a baby wipe to remove some of the paint through the 'Bright Like a Diamond' stencil. Add some 'crappy distressed sewing' that I seem to be really good at and some gorgeous Washi tape and bright Enamel dots.

The filler cards worked perfectly going through my die cutter and I love the resulting flowers and leaves to go with my layout. This is a great way to use some of your filler cards that you have left over!!

I utilised an older kit called "We run the world' which I really loved and I am still using up all the last bits and pieces from.

Lets take a look at the close up pics!

I used a white modelling paste through the "Little Big Love' stencil under my photo cluster and also on the opposite side to create a subtle texture and layer to the layout.  Add your die cut flowers and leaves in layers around your filler cards and I also added a few Gold handmade embellies from Charms Creations as well. Love these beauties.

Some distressed sewing and black border using a fineline black pen, washi tape and enamel dots to point the way to the photo on the page.

Balance your page by adding an embellishment cluster on the opposite side of your page using the same techniques and products.

Now that we have successfully used a whole heap of our Flutterby Designs stash who else is super excited to order and receive the new Magical AF collection that is now in store?

Thanks for stopping by the blog today, stay tuned for my next project on the 22nd Feb featuring some of the new collection!

Cool as Bro || Elisa Ablett

Hi Flutterby Fans,

Elisa here from the design team with my latest project for Flutterby Designs, a mixed media boy layout featuring a monochromatic palette plus the colour teal!

Who else is a teal fan?

With this layout I started with spraying teal colour through the Star Stencil, letting that dry completely before adding black ink elements by smoothing black ink through the He Said She Said Stencil and the Got Letters stencil.

Then adding some funky distressed stamping with Viva Las Vegas Stamps.

Though I think the winner in my eyes is the monochromatic everyday filler cards of the 'Blank Pallete' collection. Perfect to match with any colour/s and looks fab with wood veneer (speech bubbles).

Here are the close ups !

Thanks for stopping by the blog today,

Make sure you pop on by the Inspiration page to say hi!

.....ucking Lucky Kids & Threenager | Krisy Podolak

Hi Flutterby Lovelies,

Krisy here today sharing some pages I have recently created using the New "Extreme Teen" collection.  I don't have any teenagers but I have a few "Threenagers"  which I hope are the worst of the two "Nagers" you can get. I mixed in a bit of anything that worked with my page.  I very rarely create with just one collection and of course, there is some mixed media in there too.

I will mention that no one was harmed or made deceased in the lead up to these pages however, they came very fucking close.  Oh, and there are a few "sentence enhancers" used.  Be warned.

This is my first layout.  Show casing how my two youngest cherubs abolished my veggie garden in 20 minutes.  The plants were both established and seedlings.

I used a few different cards from the Everyday Etc Card packs and cut them up to suit my layout.  I then used some word Snippets and page tabs to add details around the page.

The background has inks as well as the New "Knuckle Head" stencil and stamping.

Then just as an added BONUS...Here is another layout.  The paper I picked up a while ago on a Garage sale site. As soon as I saw it I had to have it then this collection just worked with it.  I used Flutter Colour Paint on my background and the "Got Letters" Stencil.

I'll be back in a few weeks to share more layouts I have been working on.

Jrn School Leader 2017 - Skai Mitchell

Hey Scrappy peeps..

I'm popping in for a shameless 'mummy brag moment' for my share this week. My daughter Trinity attends a private school that is K-12, so Year 4 leadership nominations to them is the equivalent to Year 6 Captains in public school.
It was kinda' a deal!

Out of 45 students, she was one of 6 to be voted in as a Jnr School leader... (4 of whom were teachers kids).. so to say we are proud is an understatement.

I have pulled out an older collection to create this layout. Ive used pieces from the 'Super Cool' Everyday Etc cards to matt my photos and create my layers.

For my title I've inked the letters with Tim Holtz distress inks through the 'Got Letters' Stencil, then traced back over them with a super fine Micron pen. Add to that some of the 'Blackboard' Sticky Alphas and you have a catchy headline for your layout.

Hope you like my grungy layout this week, and dont forget to share your creations on the Flutterby Inspiration HQ page!
