Good Morning!
Allara here on the blog today with a quick stash busting layout using some bits and bobs of my favourite Flutterby Collections with a photo of myself and my soon to be 18 year old daughter when she is just 5 months old.
To start this layout I have chosen some Distress Oxide Inks and painted them on in a watercolour fashion, so that they blend together. I swiped the ink on my background mat first then spritzed with water and placed dircctly onto my white cardstock. The oxide inks blend beautifully together and also remain quite vibrant. I heat set them and then flick some of the colours over the top as well.
Next I've used the Art Foamie Noughts and Crosses stamp and just very faintly used some of the distress oxide to stamp over this background, I didn't want anything to prominent. Using a white Paint Marker I'ved traced around a couple of the noughts and crosses so they stand out.
The basis of my design was built from the 'Love' Strip I cut from the 12 x 12 Forever and Ever paper from the Happily Ever After Collection.
From the 12 x 12 Cut out sheet from the We Are collection I've cut out the Heart card and then matted that with various Everyday Etc cards which colout co-ordinated with my design.
A few stickers from the 'Sticky Quick Quotes' from the We Are collection were also used as well as the title 'Together' and couple of hears stuck around the page.
Once again with Flutterby Designs products I was able to produce a lovely quick and impressive layout without spending hours trying to come up with an elaborate design. These pages just seem to come together so quickly as all the pieces from different collections just seems to blend together.

Sweet Amazing You | Tamara Buckler
Hey Hey Scrappy Peeps,
I'm up on the blog today for my first share for July. I pulled this layout together using some 12x12 paper from the 'We Are' paper pack. I wanted to play with the reds and oranges in the paper as these colours worked with some Autumn photos of my daughter.
I started by tearing the paper down to be approximately 9x12, and then applied some gesso behind my focus area. I added some texture paste through the 'All you need is love' Stencil, and once this was dry I used the packaging technique to add some watered down FlutterColour paint. I then used a Sharpie highlight some of the text in the modelling paste, and added some paint and ink splatters around the place.
I used a CUTtoYOU Cut File to frame my photos, and added a Everyday Etc Card from the 'Happy Together' set to the centre frame. I popped this all up on foam tape, and adhered it over the top of the mixed media.
To create my title, I have coloured some Die Cuts with a black Posca Pen, so that they fitted with my colour scheme, and added some white sticky alphas.
To finish off my page, I have added a page tab, a bright tab and a word label from the photo cut outs. I also added some white chalk pen splatters over the top of the page as a final touch.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Big Loves,
Tam xo

We Are Family | Belinda Spencer
Hey peeps!
Belinda here today to share a layout created using the brand new stunning We Are collection.
'We Are Family'
I so love that woodgrain paper from the 12 x 12 Paper Pack! I cut that to size and then added some stencilling using the All You Need Is Love Stencil and some Tropicana Teal Flutter Colour Paint. I added some stamping too.
Next I shuffled around the Everyday Etc Filler Cards until I had the right combination, trimmed to size and layered under my photo.
I slipped in the fabulous camera that I fussy cut from one of the cards. I added in the a fussy cut from the Snap 1 pack as well as some page tabs.
To finish I added my trademark sprinkling of enamel dots as well as a ticket from the Bright Tickets set and some Sticky Quick Quotes.
Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today. I hope you are feeling inspired to grab your We Are stash and have a play.
Cheers
Belinda Spencer

Love | Belinda Spencer
Hello Flutterby peeps!!
Belinda here today to share my first layout featuring the stunning brand new range 'We Are'.
I have chosen to work with a soft palette from the range including pinks and woodgrain for a pretty combination. There are some amazing brights in the collection too that I am looking forward to playing with for my next layout.
I started this layout by adding some subtle stencilling using the 'All You Need Is Love' Stencil and heavy white gesso to the pretty pink 'Unconditional' patterned paper. Once dry, I diluted some Raspberry Punch Flutter Colour Paint with water and flicked over the background.
Next I added the 'Confetti Circles' and 'Wheels' Wood Veneer pieces to the page. I glued the white outline onto the woodgrain 'Love' title from the 'We Are' Die Cut Title Set and then fussy cut. I attached the die cut title to the brick wall filler card from the 'We Are' Everyday Etc Cards and then layered on some small pieces cut from the Filler Cards.
Next I added the photo using 3D foam and slipped in a 'We Are' Page Tab as well as the lovely frame from the 'We Are' Die Cut Bits & Bobs.
I added a few fun embellishments on the right hand side of my photo including a 'We Are' Flair Button and a 'Word Speech Bubbles' Wood Veneer. I chopped up a quote from the 'We Are' Everyday Etc Cards and added that along with some words cut from the 'Tropical' Snippet Strips. Finally I added a sweet sprinkling of enamel dots from the Bold Enamel Dots Set.
I feel totally inspired by this gorgeous collection and I can't wait to get stuck into my next layout.
Thank you for stopping by the blog. I hope you are feeling inspired to play with your Flutterby Designs stash too.
Cheers
Belinda

Stop Being a Smartass - Sweetheart by Allara Bamforth
Happy Sunday!
Hope you enjoying your weekend, what ever you are up to. I'm still recovering from the fabulous Flutterby Designs - Create by the Lake Retreat last weekend! It is SO much fun and brings together so many amazingly talented and creative souls. If you haven't been, you really need to be a part of it - so keep an eye for registrations for next year!
This layout is one I created at retreat. I started off using my Brayer to smoosh over Flutter Colour Paints - Fire Engine Red, Orange Gold Fish and Sunshine Yellow. Once this was dry and using a sponge and some Artic White paint through the Migraine Madness Stencil, randomly placed some stencilling all over my page.
Then using the All You Need is Love Stencil, I blocked down the page with some transparent gloss texture paste. Once this was dry I used some black dylusions ink to run out from under where I planned to place my photo, so that the outline of the Love stencil could be seen randomly down the page.
I mounted by photo using Everyday etc Filler Cards from the Happily Ever After Collection and a title was made from the Everday Etc Cards both underneath the photo and to the left hand side. A Photo Tab from Happily Ever After Collection was slotted in behine and a Flair Button from my stash of Flutterby goodies.
The entire background was the layout to begin with but I felt the photo was a little lost against the busyness of the background, so at this stage I decided to cut it up and add it to another white background with a few strips to the side (and also now have another spare piece for something else). To finish off, I pulled out my trusty FineLine applicator filled with Flutter Colour paint and drew so squiggles but then also used my favourite stitch stamp of the moment from 49 and Market. Then last but not least decided to use some of the left over 'muslin' from the Blind Scrap Challenge we did at retreat.
Thanks for taking time to have a peek!
Till next post,
Allara xx

Love | Tamara Buckler
Hey Hey Flutterby Friends,
Tam back with you today to share my latest layout using our new 'Happily Ever After' collection. This one features a couple of pics of hubby and I, which are sadly few and far between. Something I need to rectify I think!
I started by running some texture paste through the 'all you need is love' stencil, which I laid diagonally across the page. I then watered down some Flutter Colour Paint in Orange Goldfish, and used the packaging technique to apply this to the page. I also added some paint and ink splatters at this point.
I then matted and layered up my photos with some Everyday Etc Filler Cards, and then tucked some Page Tabs around the place.
The large enamel 'love' is just gorgeous and really directed where the other elements on the page where going to be placed. I added in a sentiment from the Everyday Etc Cards.
I added in some fussy cut hearts from some older 'We Run the World' 12x12 paper pack, and I love the grungy edge this gives. And to finish off the page, I added in some stickers and enamel dots.
Thanks for stopping by to check out my layout today, and I hope you all get a chance to get crafty over the weekend.
Big Loves,
Tam xo

You are my favourite... | Tamara Buckler
Hey Hey Flutterby Friends,
Tamara back again today to share with you my 2nd layout made with the awesome new 'Happily Ever After' collection. Now this collection is ultimately designed for your partner/husband/wife or any other loved up person in your life. I have mixed it up a bit today and used it for my tween daughter, who I love most days ;)
This layout was inspired by the Everyday Etc card featuring the quote "You are my favourite pain in the ass". I wanted to draw out the bright splatter-y paint effect in the background, and also the black in the font. I started by using some black gesso through the new 'All you need is Love' stencil. Seriously this is the best, such a cool block font with the word 'love' repeated over and over again, perfection! I think it really pops with the black gesso on the white cardstock, love it! I then used some paint to mimic the effect on the quote card, and bring in lots of yummy bright colours.
I layered up this attitude filled picture of said tween with some of the Everyday Etc Filler Cards that complimented the paint colours, and matted both the quote and pic with black card stock for an extra pop.
I added in some washi tape from the kit around the quote, and some enamel dots to peak out at the top and bottom. This page didn't need too much in the way of further embellishment as there was so much colour and contrast happening already. I did add in a heart that I fussy cut from one of the Everyday Etc cards, a flair button from the collection, as well as a page tab, and that was it!
Thanks for stopping by to check out my page. I hope you have all got your hands on the Happily Ever After collection and are making pretty things. Make sure you pop over to the Flutterby Inpiration HQ and share with us what you're making!
Big Loves,
Tam xo
