"That Cheeky Little Tongue" with Adele Toomey

Hey scrappy peeps!

I am SO excited because I finally stopped hoarding my fav paper from the "happily Ever After" collection and used it on a 9x12" layout.

I am very guilty of saving my favourite papers for the "perfect" project, but I'm trying really hard this year to make a dint in my scrappy collection and actually USE my newest and prettiest supplies.

I used some whipped spackle and Flutterby paints in the background to create a little bit of added detail to my layout. I love using the Everyday Etc cards to layer behind my photos to give them a little added focus against a busy background.

I hope you enjoy my accompanying process video creating this fun and bright page!
See you next time!

You are the Stars by Allara Bamforth

Good Morning and Hello Again,

Back on the blog today and I have a bright lovely layout to colour up your Monday using the 'Happily Ever After' collection!

This is entirely created background with Flutterby Colour Paints and Stencils.  I have used the four colours Grape Soda, Tropical Teal, Raspberry Punch and Sunshine Yellow from the Flutter Colur Paint - Bright set and rolled them over mypage with a small brayer. I mostly painted in a horizontal direction as I didn't want the paint to mix toghether to much and then carefully cleaned off my brayer and then going over the top vertically just to get a small hint of th colour. I then used a small amount of Artic White haphazardly.

I next used the Words of Wisdom stencil and dabbed through some Artic White with a sponge. I didn't really want the words to show but used it more as texture/interest for the background, I also turned it over in a couple of spots to clean off the paint. I then used the Stargazed stencil with some black ink, I just wanted used this as background interest again and then used a posca pen to outline some of the stars.

Using Artic White I splattered it all over the page. For the rest of the back ground detail I have used a Square Stich Stamp which I have also stamped on the background of the Everyday Etc Filler Cards for matting. I then used one of my nesting star dies and using Black Mayhem in my Fineline Applicator traced around these dies for the background detail.

I've matted my photo with Happily Ever After Everyday Etc Filler Cards and the Happily Ever After Frame 51. The title 'You are the Sun, The Moon, The stars and all that other good shit' is from the Happily Ever After Everday Etc Photo Cards, and the 'Love' acrylic title and the Lips Washi tape is from the Happily Ever After May Kit 2018. To finish off a couple of Heart Stickers from the Happily Ever After Sticky quotes and some Neon Enamel Dots.

Last but not least I had some left over pieces from die cuts laying around that I thought would make a great sun. So using my aquapastels coloured those in to add behind the photo and also to add little depth to my big stars on the page.

Hope you enjoy your week and make sure you order some of the fabulous Happily Ever After collection by clicking on the links above.

Till next post,

Allara xx

"This Is Us" by Rachel Dutko

Hi everyone!

Today I have a 12x12 page to share using the awesome new "Happily Ever After" collection.

I used the gorgeous 'Sporadic Romantic' 12x12 paper for my base, and trimmed the edges slightly
to mount it on some black cardstock. I didn't want to cover up too much of the gorgeous paper,
so I kept my embellishments to two clusters.

I matted my photo with some Everyday Etc filler cards.

For my clusters I cut out a couple of black diamonds from the Everyday Etc cards
positioning the 'You + Me' next to the photo and the blank diamond
in the opposite corner for my title cluster.

My title cluster also includes a flair and some stickers from the
Happily Ever After Sticky Quotes

The title 'this is us' is cut from an Everyday Etc card

I also added some co-ordinating Snippet Strips and  enamel dots around the page.

I also added a flair from the "Good Vibes Only' collection,
as this photo was taken at a music festival.

Thanks for looking

You are my favourite... | Tamara Buckler

Hey Hey Flutterby Friends,

Tamara back again today to share with you my 2nd layout made with the awesome new 'Happily Ever After' collection. Now this collection is ultimately designed for your partner/husband/wife or any other loved up person in your life. I have mixed it up a bit today and used it for my tween daughter, who I love most days ;)

This layout was inspired by the Everyday Etc card featuring the quote "You are my favourite pain in the ass". I wanted to draw out the bright splatter-y paint effect in the background, and also the black in the font. I started by using some black gesso through the new 'All you need is Love' stencil. Seriously this is the best, such a cool block font with the word 'love' repeated over and over again, perfection! I think it really pops with the black gesso on the white cardstock, love it! I then used some paint to mimic the effect on the quote card, and bring in lots of yummy bright colours.

I layered up this attitude filled picture of said tween with some of the Everyday Etc Filler Cards that complimented the paint colours, and matted both the quote and pic with black card stock for an extra pop.

I added in some washi tape from the kit around the quote, and some enamel dots to peak out at the top and bottom. This page didn't need too much in the way of further embellishment as there was so much colour and contrast happening already. I did add in a heart that I fussy cut from one of the Everyday Etc cards,  a flair button from the collection, as well as a page tab, and that was it!

Thanks for stopping by to check out my page. I hope you have all got your hands on the Happily Ever After collection and are making pretty things. Make sure you pop over to the Flutterby Inpiration HQ and share with us what you're making!

Big Loves,
Tam xo

Life Together | Belinda Spencer

Hello!

Belinda here today to share a layout featuring the BRAND NEW Happily Ever After collection.

This is such a fun collection and as I was searching for (embarassing) photos of my hubby and myself I realized that we just don't have enough photos of us together. I need to rectify that!

I did manage to find one of us together where I appear relatively normal but my hubby is pulling the weirdest face for some reason. It's probably because he hates being in photos so when I force him to he gets his revenge by messing them up. Little does he know these are the ones I love the best and I WILL scrap them for all to see. Revenge huh? He is an amateur. LOL

'Life Together'

I had so much fun experimenting with a beautiful rainbow of Flutter Colour paint on my background. I spritzed my cardstock quite heavily with water (yes it warps the paper but I can live with that) and also diluted the paints with water in a paint palette. I then used a soft wet paintbrush to drop the colours onto the page. If you have enough water on the page the paint will just bleed out and do its own thing. I love that. You can of course encourage it where to go using the paintbrush.

Aren't those paints just the prettiest colours? Even better they co-ordinate so perfectly with the Happily Ever After collection.

Next I had to add some stencilling with the fabulous new stencil 'All You Need Is Love'. I used white gesso for a soft look.

Then I layered up a fussy cut and the gorgeous 'Blanket Thief patterned paper from the paper pack as well as page tabs, filler cards, enamel dots and my title. I cut the 'Life' from a photo card and the little grey and white hearts from a filler photo card.

Products used:

* Green Limousine
* Raspberry Punch
* Sunshine Yellow
* Tropicana Teal

Well that's all from me today. Make sure you head over to the store HERE to grab this gorgeous collection for yourself.

Thanks for stopping by the blog today.

We Stick Together | Sue Plumb

Hi everyone!
Sue Plumb here today to share my latest design team project with you and my very first using the BRAND NEW 'Happily Ever After' collection! This range is so freakin' awesome - and right up my alley with it's gorgeous bright colours and a mix of sweet and sassy sentiments! If you haven't already got your hands on some of this... JUST. DO. IT.
(You can check out all the new goodies in the shop HERE)

To create this layout I started with a fun photo of hubby and I taken at a 'Pimps & Hoes' fancy dress party last year and that STUNNING background paper - aptly named 'Love Potion', from the 'Happily Ever After' 12x12" paper pack. (The pack contains 10 different sheets of patterned paper which are all printed on 200gsm paper, making them ideal for mixed media as well.)

I used a variety of the Everyday Etc filler cards cut into various shapes and sizes to create a layered mat for my photo. (I so love the colour palette of this collection!) I then added some frayed gauze for a little soft texture before placing my photo on top.

I added two of the 'Happily Ever After' page tabs above my photo, which I just tucked in behind it.

I decided my page needed some extra details on the background, so I used the new 'Happily Ever After' stencil and some black Staz On ink to add the love you words and hearts. To do this, I simply masked off the areas around the section I wanted to use with some washi tape and then applied the ink using a sponge dauber.

Next, I turned my attention to my page title - reaching for my pack of Everyday Etc cards. I already knew EXACTLY which quote I wanted to use for my title because...well, why not? hehe I fussy cut it out and adhered it below my photo. (Hubby thought it was hilarious!)

After my title was down, I looked to add a few extra embellishments. (I didn't need a lot because the papers did most of the work on this page.) I wanted to create a little cluster on the horizontal strip to the right of my photo, so I added the I'm not sick of you yet sticker and the small purple heart sticker from the Sticky Quotes sheet.

I also added a handmade purple heart from Charms Creations; which I topped with the XOXO flair button from the 'Happily Ever After' set #1. I also added a few small torn pieces of the 'XO' washi tape that comes in the 'Happily Ever After' Kit (not available separately).

To finish off my page, I added a few splatters of white Flutter Colour paint (I watered it down slightly to make it easier to splatter); some scribbles of pencil; then I stamped the date and a few phrases and I was done.

Thanks for stopping by today so I could share this with you. I am sure you are dying to get your hands on the 'Happily Ever After' collection for yourself, so make sure you head to the shop HERE now to grab some.
Until next time, happy scrapping!

Project Life with Adele *NEW HAPPILY EVER AFTER COLLECTION!*

Hello lovelies!!

I am so excited to begin working with the fab new collection "Happily Ever After" and dived in immediately to work on some of my Project Life pages.

I used lots of the stickers this week to act as journaling on my pocket cards. The tiny word stickers come in handy when you just want to add a tiny little detail to a photo.

I used some of the enamel dots and an Everyday Etc card to create a simple filler card with a tiny bit of journaling. There's so many colour choices in the Everyday Etc cards and filler cards so it's easy to find a card that will coordinate with your photos for each week. I decided to keep this particular one quite neutral and added brighter cards to the top and bottom rows instead.

I really enjoy adding the page tabs behind my photos, especially with very busy photos or photos that don't have a lot of blank space (like the one below of Archie's GIANT head hehe!).

I hope you enjoy this little Project Life page, I will be back in a couple of weeks with my first layout and process video using the "Happily Ever After" collection. Have you started using the collection yet??

Adele :)

Together Love by Allara Bamforth

Hello and Happy Saturday!

I'm back on the blog today with a layout using the wonderful 'This is Our Happily Ever After' Collection. I hope you snap up this collection, it is such a bright and fun range of goodies, perfect for scrapping you and your significant other. It is complete with all the good humour and a few naughty quotes that we all know and love.

For today's layout I have picked a special photo of my husband and I from January this year, where we went on our first holiday ALONE in 19 years. We had such fab time - and the best part was I decided that I still liked him even after our 26 years together. This photo is of Cradle Mountain in Tasmania and it was just one of the most beautiful places I've been to and it also was taken on our wedding anniversary.

I picked the 12 x 12 paper 'I'll Keep You' from the Happily Ever After collection, because the cool geometric shapes reminded me of Cradle Mountain. I ended up cutting across the geometric shapes on this paper to separate two pieces which I've inked in black ink and layed over each other, also cutting a small strip for the opposite edge. Using the Fragmented Stencil I've added some texture with some glitter gel from Faber Castell to fit in with geometric design.

I've used three of my favourite Tim Holtz oxide inks to create so colour in the white space and also to tie in with matted pieces. To layer my photo I've used the 'Happily Ever After' Filler Cards and also cut some extra triangle shapes to added some interest. There is some fantastic Washi Tape in the 'Happily Ever After' May 2018 kit and I have the the xo xo along the bottom to match some of the filler cards.

I then used my black pen to draw some stitch lines and stamp a cute heart border and some script to finish it off.  I've cut the 'Love Banner' from the Frame 51'Happily Ever After' and a Page Tab from 'Happily Ever After' Page Tabs. The 'you're the only person I cant stand for longer than 4 hours' is from the 'Happily Ever After' 12 x 12 Paper called 'What makes us Work'. This is finished off with a title 'Together' form the 'Happily Ever After wood veneer bits' which I've first embossed with Colourblast Envy and then clear embossed of the top of that again. Last but not least I've added a Flair from Happily Ever After Flair Button 1.

Thanks for stopping by and see you next time with another love filled layout.

Till next post,

Allara xx

'XOXOXO' by Rachel Dutko

Hi Flutterby peeps!

Today I am sharing a page using the brand spanking new  "Happily Ever After" collection.

I used sprays for my base layer, then added some "Tropicana Teal" Flutter Colour Paint
through a Happily Ever After stencil.

Once the paint was dry I traced through the stencil again with a Sharpie pen to add some definition.

I layered some Everyday Etc filler cards under my photo.

I added a flair, washi, and some page tabs. I also scattered some enamel dots.

I used the noughts and crosses card from the Everyday Etc pack as a feature,
and added some "Tropicana Teal" Flutter Colour Paint to tie it all together.

Head over to the store and check out the brand new Happily Ever After collection.

Thanks for looking

It's release day!! | Tamara Buckler

Hi Flutterby Peeps,

I'm so excited to be here with you on release day!! The new range 'Happily Ever After' drops tonight at 8pm, and I can tell you first hand, its a cracker! I am writing this blog on the way home from retreat, and I shared a little sneak peak with the girls there and they were super impressed at the bright colours and the fun sentiments.

I put together the page I'm sharing with you over the weekend and it is certainly fun and bright!

The background on this page is one of the new amazing 12x12 papers from the collection, which I added to by running some modelling paste through one of the new stencils.

I matted my pic using some of the Everyday Etc Filler Cards and cut the 'butt grabbing' sentiment out of another. I fussy cut some random scallops out of few of the cards to add interest and provide a border for the sentiment.

I also fussy cut out the cute little people silhouettes from another filler card, and added one of the funky flair buttons from the collection.

I added a couple of stickers from the sticker sheet to the top right of the page to balance everything out, and that was it! Such an easy page to put together, but I love it as it documents my relationship with my husband in a bright and funny way.

You can pre-order the kit online today if you cant wait until tonight. But all the funky bits and bobs will be available on the site from 8pm tonight!! Get on it, people!

Big Loves,

Tam xo
