I'm back! its my turn again!

WOW hasn't the work by the girls been amazing so far...See I said I felt very lucky to been on a DT team with such talented ladies and there is still more to come.

What is your thought process to creating a layout??

Do you grab the embellishments first or the Photo/Photos?

I normally grab the photo/s firsts and then the embellishments next. 

The one great thing with Flutterby Designs, is that there are a great variety of embellishment to use and in my awesome Flutterby stash I can grab the embellishments I need straight away.  

I truly love using the 6x4" Photo Cut Outs with Matt finish. These are great for adding layers to your scrapbook layouts without the bulk. Just cut them out with scissors.

1.5mm thick Baltic Birch Veneer  is what the wood bits are made from and all of the designs are EXCLUSIVE to Flutterby Designs.

'Super Star Everyday' By Lauren Hender

Oh my goodness.. It is 2016 and I am sharing my first DT project for the year.

I am so excited about the year ahead. I hope you all are too.

Flutterby Flairs, Chipboard, photo tabs and everyday etc cards have come together in this layout to celebrate my beautiful boy graduating year 6 and on to high school.

I used lots of layers to create one main cluster and a small cluster section.

Be confident with your journaling. It is important to share the memories and showcase your hand writing.

I hope your new year is fabulous and your hopes for 2016 come true.

I wanted to share with you my favourite techniques used to create a page,
celebrating the end of 2015.
(As seen in Scrapbooking Memories Magazine Vol 19 No.6)

Altering wood veneer, in particular Flutterby Designs wood bits, is one of my all time faves. 

 

It's as easy as adding some nail polish or as mess free as a sharpie pen.

I also used some wood bits to add some height to some Flutterby Designs enamel dots

See the whole circles? The extra bits from the middle of the circles (found HERE)?
I just placed an enamel dot on top, an adhesive dot underneath and... job done!

Kylie here today with my first Design Team share!! 

First of the rank as they say. 

I am totally thrilled to be a part of this awesome team and I look forward to working with Anita and the girls sharing amazing products, that are a must have in any scrapbookers stash.

One of my most favourite items in store would have to be the abundance of Flair! 

With this layout I used the No. 198  flair. The black and white couple themed was perfect for this layout about hubby and I stopping for a coffee on our weekend away. 

I also loved the matching wooden bits that accompanied the flair perfectly.

I am a list person although the you won't see me joining any 30 day of lists challenges. I do it to get things done! My Scrapbooking style is Eclectic. "So you know you're an artist if you go through a glue stick faster than a lipstick!? Well that's me!! Hello, I'm Anita. Graphic Designer / Full-time mummy to one boisterous 3yr old boy & a beautiful baby girl (enjoying every bit of it!!) & married to my best friend, Chris. We live in Tamworth, the country music capital of Australia.

My love of art started at a young age & I had chosen my career path pretty early. I have always loved mixed media & the design process. Never shying away from getting my hands messy. I am lucky enough to say the quote “Do what you love, love what you do” applies to me. I started scrapbooking started about 10yrs ago & I haven't stopped!! I have however since forgotten all the other basics like vacuuming, cooking etc - but we get by LOL. Paper & paint are like therapy to me!
