Anguree here - I’m back on the blog
today with another layout using the Flutter Colour Paints and the NO EXCUSES -FILLER CARDS, so I hope you like it.
'FABULOUS'
As mentioned in my
earlier first post for this month I was really inspired by all the paint splats
in this new release, so I decided to create some splatters myself using my
favourite paint and black cardstock.
Tip: When you use as much paint as I did, it really takes quite a while
to dry, especially if you live in a humid environment like I do. If you do want
to try this, I’d suggest you have a play and then go out the house for a
coffee, work or go and do some shopping so it can dry properly before you play
more. Once it was dry I added some white
twine and pink enamel dots.
Next I matted my photo
onto one of the cards and placed it on the card I used for the journaling in my
first guest design. Remember how I said not to chuck it in the bin? Well, as
you can see here, I carefully added some pink card to fill the gap I created by
cutting out the phrase and added some handwritten journaling onto a tiny strip
of white cardstock. This way it looks like it’s meant to be and part of the
original card. Cool hey? One of the other cards in the stack has the word
“Awesome” printed on it, so again cut out one of the words to form part of my
journaling.
Popped on a DIY flair button & I also punched out a
tab from one of the coordinating cards and added more journaling. Last but not
least I used one of the cards to cut out my title using a Kaisercraft die.
Voila it was done.
