RESPECT | Allara Bamforth

Good Morning!,

I hope you all have had a lovely Easter Break! I was lucky enough to have 5 days off and we visited the Coast but back to work today.

As we are coming up to ANZAC day I thought I would see if I could possibly do an ANZAC themed layout using Flutterby Designs goodies and I think may of just pulled it off! Was a little bit of a challenge.

On my background I've rolled across some Flutter Colour paint in Green Limousine, Fire Engine red and Artic White across the miggle and a little bit in the top left and bottom right corner. I was hoping to match the colours to my photos which were of the wonderful poppy display at the Skillion at Terrigal a couple of years back.

Over the top of the painted areas, I've used some Black paint through one of the mini square stencils. I 've also added to stamped images from my own collection. and then splattered some of the paint over the background.

From the 'We Run the World' 12 x 12 Papers I have cut some circles to place over my background. My photos are matted in previous off cuts from Everyday Etc cards from a number of different collections as well as the arrows which I've cut out from these cards as well.

My Respect title uses the Large Magical AF Alphabet sticky quotes which I've added a wash of the Green Limousine so they match in with my colour scheme. The 'Grateful' and 'Amazing' Sticker is also from Sticky Quotes as well as the Flair Button 'We Are'. And a Page Tab added to the third photo.

Thanks for taking a peek.

Till next time,

Hey Hello Crazy Kids | Tamara Buckler

Hello Flutterby Friends,

So happy to be back with you for my latest share, getting sooo close to the end of the year now! Can you believe it?!

Today I am sharing a layout featuring the new 'We Are' range - how awesome are new goodies!!! This is my second layout using this range, and I really just can't get enough of it!

This page is using the 'We Are' 12x12 paper from the Paper Pack. The colour swatches on this paper are so fun, and I love that they use so many of the Flutterby colours that we are used to but mixes in so many more.

I tore this paper in half, just to calm things down a bit as my photos are very busy, and used kraft cardstock for the rest of my background. I also added quite a bit of white gesso behind my photos for the same reason, and then added in some white stripes using modelling paste through the Large Alpha Stencil.

I layered up my photos using lots of Everyday Etc Filler Cards, as well as one of the 'This is Awesome' Fussy Cuts.  Here and there I tucked in some 'We Are' page tabs, and some older Snippet Strips, just for added interest amongst the layers.

I created the title using a combination of Mini Fussy Cuts, white sticky alphas, and 'We are' sticky quotes and Die Cuts. I love mixing all these elements, and I think it really works to tie all the photos together in their wonky grid.

And then, of course, I needed to add in one of the new Flair Buttons, because, why not?! (and also because perfect match for their crazy helmets!)

I tucked in more stickers around the place, and then added Enamel Dots here and there to complete the page.

I love how bright and fun this page is, and super pumped that I got to document a whole lot of photos, rather than my usual one!

Make sure you jump over the shop and check out the new range, a lot of it selling out quite fast!

Thanks for stopping by again!

Big Loves,
Tam x

Hello Adventure | Tamara Buckler

Hello Flutterby Friends,

It's great to be back with you for another share today. This page was a fun one to create. I'm a little bit obsessed with the Large Alpha Stencil, and love making titles with the letters - its just such a cool crisp font!

I had this fun selfie with my daughter at a tree climb adventure park, and I have printed it a bit larger in 5x5, and really wanted to make it my focal point.

To accentuate this focal point I drew 'Hello' on some black card stock using the Large Alpha Stencil and fussy cut it out just using some scissors. I also cut out some asterix while I was at it, and tucked them around the page.

Now that I had the 2 main elements sorted, I began to build a matt behind my photo. To do this, I pulled a heap of Everyday Etc Cards from a variety of collections, focussing on B&W papers, and anything in purple/pink. I cut them into random sizes to create texture and interest, and laid them up behind my pic. I also tucked in some frames, and some page tabs in similar colours and textures.

I added a piece from the Kraft Fussy Cuts to the top left of the photo, and tucked various pieces from the black Snippet Strips and White Sticky Quotes around the page. I also added a Flair Button to embellish the page, which I have altered, as the colour didn't suit - I'm not entirely happy with the way this worked out, but I figure that's a good excuse to order a few more!

To finish off the title I added the word 'Adventure' using the Purple Sticky Alphas, which I stuck to be a piece of white cardstock, so I could layer it over the larger title word.

And to balance out the page, and finish things off, I added a strip from an Everyday Etc Card, and another Snippet Strip with my journalling at the bottom of the page.

Thanks for stopping by today to check out my page. I do apologise for the light in some of these pics, we have had rain non stop since I created this layout and have struggled to get a good pic because of the gloominess. I'm definitely not complaining about the rain, so I figured these pics would do!

Big Loves,

Beanie Boo Love | Tamara Buckler

Hello Flutterby Friends,

Tamara back here today sharing with you my first layout for September. This one is a bit of a stash buster, but it really came together around the giant title which I love!

The title started with the big 'Boo' which I was able to create using the Large Alpha Set stencil, which I have been eyeing off from in the shop for ages! I traced around the letters with a black sharpie and then filled them in with Flutter Colour Paint in Black Mayhem. I then fussy cut the 'Love' from the Mad About You Everyday Etc Cards to fit in with the giant black lettering. The purple letters were originally some white alphas from my stash, which I painted with some Grape Soda Flutter Colour Paint.

I added some texture to the left of the page by running some modelling paste through the Little Big Love stencil. This then framed where my photo stack needed to be.

I love the way this photo stack worked out. I layered up a heap of Everyday Etc Cards from various collections and in various sizes and colours, and it just pops! I tucked into these layers a heap of page tabs from the Fur Ever Friends collection, which worked in with all the crazy little critters in the picture.

I also tucked in a Mini Card Fussy Cut which is the 'Awesome' you can see down the left of my picture. I really like how this brings the white of the background to the forefront, and also ties in the rounded edges of the page tabs.

To embellish the photo stack, I fussy cut a flamingo from a Good Vibes Everyday Etc Card, and added in a Flair Button for good measure! To finish the page off, I added in various Die Cuts from different collections and a good dose of ink splatters.

Thanks for stopping by today, make sure you jump over and check out the shop, there's a heap of new stencils over there that need to be in your stash!

Big Loves,
Tam xo
