Good Morning,

I'm back on the blog today with a lovely photo of my parents and their five grandchildren taken at Xmas. The 'We Are' collection was perfect to co-ordinate with this photo but this time

I have created my own back ground using Flutter Colour Paints - Sunshine Yellow, Green Limousine and Grape soda with my trusty brayer.

In the top left and bottom right corners of my page I have used to co-ordinating colours of oxide ink with the 'Aloha' stencil to match the gorgours flower in the bottom right of my photo that you can see in the pic above.

I created a focal point for my photo by adding a painted circle in the middle of my page with some white and black Flutter Colour paints.  My photo is matted with Everyday Etc Filler Cards from the We Are collection and I have cut the title with from Everyday Etc Cards.

 I've added some We Are collection Sticky Quotes and some Tiny Sticky quotes. The page tabs are from another previous collection but co-ordinated nicely with the colour pallette. Finished off the page with Flair Button from We Are and some Neon Enamel Dots. I also added just some script stamping for interest.

Hello Summer, Good Coffee Only by Allara Bamforth

I'm back on the blog again with a super colourful layout which was one very happy mistake. I totally had something else in mind whilst creating this page but what I had intended didn't quite work but just goes to show if you just experiment it might not turn out so bad.

I started off with the wonderful 12x12 Good Vibes only paper pack and used Ray of Sunshine for the background and fussy cut some of the design from Garden of paradise.

I  then cut a circle out of some white mixed media cardstock and used some Flutter Colour Paint in  Raspberry Punch mixing it through some texture paste then dragging across the Aloha stencil to fill the circle. I picked a couple of favourite Tim Holtz Oxide inks and draggedd them across the mat and lightly added the colour sprited with water over the background of circle.

Once it was dry, I traced the circle shape on my Ray of Sunshine paper and using Flutter Colur Paint - Grape Soda, Raspberry Punch and Bahama Blue kinda of dotted paint around the traced circle and then went to town with a little water spritzing whilst rotating the paper so the paint would run outwards.

I then layered up my photo using the Good Vibes Only Everyday filler cards and cut a title out of the Good Vibes Only Everyday Etc Cards. I finished off with words from the Good Vibes Only Sticky Quotes and a word from the Blackboard Sticky Quotes  as well as one of the Good Vibes Only Flair Buttons Set 2 and some gold thread.

I love how ideas with the Good Vibes Only collection are limitless! It's just so much fun to put layouts together with this collection.

Summer Vibes | Belinda Spencer

Hello Flutterby fans!

Belinda here today to share a layout created with the awesome Good Vibes Only collection. I absolutely love the sweet watermelon elements in this range so I have based my layout around this.

'Summer Vibes' Layout

I just happened to have a photo of my darling daughter when she was much younger pretending to eat a chunk of watermelon like a rabbit. You can't see in the photo but she was wearing fluffy pink bunny ears at the time.

I chose the Neapolitan Notes paper from the 12 x 12 Paper Pack for its gorgeous pink colour for my background paper and swiped some Raspberry Punch Flutter Colour Paint over it using a silicone brush. I added some stamping too using a Darkroom Door stamp that was just perfect for this layout.

Once dry, I added some sweet subtle stencilling using the Little Big Love Stencil and some Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide.

To give my layout a more summery feel I swiped some texture paste over the Aloha Stencil to add some stunning frangipanni flowers. Once dry, I coloured over the top of the flowers using a white paint pen to make them more of a crisp white.

I fussy cut the word Hello from the Hello Summer Photo Card. I love adding fussy cut elements to my layouts as I find fussy cutting quite relaxing. I especially love fussy cutting the photo cards as the knife just glides through the photo paper making it so much easier.

How cute is that little watermelon wood veneer?!! So cute! I added some cute little wood veneer hearts too as well as the the word 'vibes' that I punched out of the Good Vibes Only wood veneer piece.

I finished with some watercolour sticky quotes, a page tab and a sprinkling of the Christmas Enamel Dots. These are my favourite enamel dots as they have a lovely matt finish.

Barefoot + Free by Allara Bamforth

Hello!

Excited to back on the Flutterby Blog this month with the fabulous new 'Good Vibes' collection. I attended a scrapbooking retreat last weekend and was so thrilled to be able to whip out so many pages with this collection because it is so fun and versatile.

I have some beautiful beach photos from our holiday in January and have used this next one in particular as the water at the beach was the most amazing aqua I had ever seen! I really wanted to incorporate these colours into my layout.

I've selected a 12 x 12 watercolour paper base page - as I like how the dylusions inks and lindy's gang inks sit and flow on it and covered the left hand side with clear transparent gloss medium of the new Aloha Stencil. I picked some of my favourite colours to complement the photo from the above mentioned inks.

I have used some Flutterby Paint to sponge throught the Aloha stencil to create some extra accents. Then I've used a variety of embellishments from the Good Vibes collection as listed below.
