SKETCH CHALLENGE
We wanted to have a nice & simple challenge that everyone could participate in.

Here is the sketch challenge I designed. Lauren & I have both done samples

based on this sketch to share with you.

 

All you need to do is upload photo of your layout directly to the 

Flutterby Designs FB page.
You have until Midnight Sun 3rd August 2014 to do so & be in the running for the prizes. 

‘Oh prizes, what prizes’ I hear you ask - well we will have 3 winners:

1st Prize $20 voucher to spend in the Flutterby Store
2nd Prize $10 voucher to spend in the Flutterby Store
3rd Prize $5 voucher to spend in the Flutterby Store

The winners will be picked by Lauren & myself. The winners will be announced

JULY GUEST DESIGNER - LOUISE NELSON

It's with great honor & a humbled heart, that I can now tell you all that the
very talented (& very lovely) Louise Nelson is our Guest Designer this month!!

If you have been living under a rock & don't know anything about this lovely lady,
here is a few words from Lou about herself...

"I create because it helps to balance out the day to day stresses of my profession, and it satisfies my arty yearnings. I have always had creative hobbies, before taking up scrapbooking 6 years ago I loved to restore furniture. Since I have started scrapbooking I have also devloped a love for portrait photography, and more recently I have begun to dabble in painting. During the last 6 years I have been fortunate to have been a Creative Design Team member for Scrapbooking Memories Magazine in 2009 and a Scrapbooking Memories Master for 2012. Also fortunate to be invited to be on the Creative Design Team for UK based scrapbooking magazine; Scrap365. Currently I create for Prima Marketing, Jenni Bowlin Studio, Imaginarium Designs. I have been blessed to be regularly published in Scrapbooking Memories, and have also been featured in the last 4 editions of Somerset Memories, with technique articles and layouts in the reader gallery.I have been told that I have a creative style that is; Unique, deceptively simple, and arty! I am honoured to be guest designing for the amazing team at Flutterby Designs, and cant wait to share with you my scrappy passion."

In true Louise style, this layout is SPECTACULAR!!!
Louise has used the Wood Bits 'You+Me' title & Square Frame, one of our mixed media Flair Buttons & a Fussy Cut from the 'Hello' set (which is cut up in the under layers - it looks awesome!).

'Wonderful Life'

Here is another layout that is just full of awesomeness (yes, it's a word LOL).
I haven't taken the 'gold' plunge myself, but Louise's layout looks
simply STUNNING on that black background!!
She has used Flutterby Wood Bits - Square frame, 'Wonderful' title & Feathers,
Flair button & a 3x4 Fussy Cut.

Just quickly popping in to show you this layout I created a couple of weeks ago.

This is my FAV photo of my hubby & I on our wedding day. I've scrapped it a few times,

but I love the movement & energy in this one!

I've used gelatos & dylusion ink to create my background & then embellished

with some Flutterby flair buttons, Wood Bits (wonderful, Circles & Confetti Circles).

 (The clock chipboard piece is from a different company - just can't remember which one LOL).

EXCITING THINGS!!!!

This month's issue of Scrapbook Creations, features a few things VERY exciting! There is

a fab snippet on our DIY Flairs (actually the snippit is 2/3 of a page LOL), there's a feature on one of my layouts & lots of awesome peeps have used Flutterby Designs products on

their layouts!!! A MASSIVE thank you to Kayla, who approached me to create a layout for the Guest Editors edition.

I am bursting with pride to be featured alongside of awesome people such as Ebony van 

der Starre, Lisa Oxley, Kim Jeffress, Sharmaine Kruijver, Louise Nelson & many others!!!

 

Also the lovely Audrey from Scrapkitsandco.com approached me

about including Flutterby Designs products in their kits (super super exciting).

They are in this month's kit (June).

JUNE GUEST DESIGNER - MASKA

I am thrilled to introduce to you Maska. I have admired Maska's work for many years & adore her scrapbooking style. Maska is Guest DT for us this month, & has done some awesome layouts for us to share with you all.

"My name is Emmanuelle, but everyone call me Manue or Maska on the web. I'm 31 years old and live with my man near Paris in france with our two cute cats. I make scrapbooking for almost 8 years now and i love the style free. I love ink, spot, and add little details everywhere in my layout.
