Hey Hey Scrappy Peeps,
I'm up on the blog today for my first share for July. I pulled this layout together using some 12x12 paper from the 'We Are' paper pack. I wanted to play with the reds and oranges in the paper as these colours worked with some Autumn photos of my daughter.
I started by tearing the paper down to be approximately 9x12, and then applied some gesso behind my focus area. I added some texture paste through the 'All you need is love' Stencil, and once this was dry I used the packaging technique to add some watered down FlutterColour paint. I then used a Sharpie highlight some of the text in the modelling paste, and added some paint and ink splatters around the place.
I used a CUTtoYOU Cut File to frame my photos, and added a Everyday Etc Card from the 'Happy Together' set to the centre frame. I popped this all up on foam tape, and adhered it over the top of the mixed media.
To create my title, I have coloured some Die Cuts with a black Posca Pen, so that they fitted with my colour scheme, and added some white sticky alphas.
To finish off my page, I have added a page tab, a bright tab and a word label from the photo cut outs. I also added some white chalk pen splatters over the top of the page as a final touch.
Thanks for stopping by today.

Well S* Aye II Chrissi Mannix
Hello Lovelies,
So its been awhile since I've been in my art room, and my mojo is lacking a little. But this weekend was full of some big moments that I just HAD to journal about. I have, what I call a creative journal. Its a mix between a journal, an Art journal and a brain dump I say. it's my outlet.
and this weekend, my hot water tank, literally exploded on Friday night. Not so fun.
So this was def something to journal about, and if there was ever a time for the
Sentence Enhancer Collection, well this was it.
I started with the Sentence enhancer stencil, and some modeling paste. I wanted a few choice words to stand out from my background. Then I used some coloured ink and water to add colour to my page. This makes the texture paste pop aswell.
I printed my pictures in a small size so I could add 2 to my page. I stapled them together and glued them to my page. I used some stickers from past sticker sheets below my photos to express a few phrases that were used during this moment lol.
I knew I wanted to highlight my "title', and the Sentence Enhancer wood veneer set had the perfect words for this page. The wood veneer is always alot thinner then usual, which means it didn't bulk up my page, and my journal. A reason I Adore the Flutterby Wood Veneer. I used some of my fave alpha stamps and archival ink to complete my heading.
So that's it from me for today, I hope you enjoyed the little look into my Creative Journal/brain dump as I lovingly refer to it, and I will be back soon with a new scrappy project.
Happy Scrapping

Dreams || Elisa Ablett
Hi Flutterby Fans,
After flipping through my stash of Flutterby Design goodies and having this photo in mind of my gorgeous nieces, I decided to challenge myself to make a layout using only the leftovers and offcuts of previous layouts. A wee bit of stash busting!
I am a bit of a hoarder of offcuts and usually they just get tucked away and never see the light of day again - so challenge accepted 😀
I started with a background of teal, purple and pink Flutter Colour Paint plus a few drops here and there of purple and teal ink for splatters etc.
I had some offcuts from the Magical AF 12 x 12 paper pack and I still had loads of the Magical AF everyday etc cards left as well. I loved this quote and is quite apt for the photo, as my nieces are amazing young women whom I am very proud of.
Here are the links to the products in store - treat yourself!
Let's take a look at the close ups!
Fussy cut those titles out of your Everyday Etc cards so you can change the design of your layout. The pieces can be tucked over or under or even around your photo cluster to draw attention to it.
Go through your stash to find co-ordinating Filler Cards - We run the world collection had perfect leftover filler cards that matched.
Thanks for stopping by the blog today, I hope to see your layouts in the Inspiration HQ complete with leftovers, offcuts, old and past kits bits and pieces! Stash busting 101.
Hugs

We're All Mad Here | Allara Bamforth
TGIF!
I honestly feel like I'm on the Groundhog Day Rollercoaster at the moment and wishing I could just hop off for a while, but least it's Friday :)
Today's layout comes from that place of crazy and really expresses my frustration with this but I also added an important reminder for myself 'Your only limit is You'.
On my black carboard background I've used my brayer to roll out some Flutter Colour Paint - Fire Engine Red, Orange Gold fish and Tangerine Orange. Using the Confetti Cubes Stencil and some Artic White paint I've stencilled this over the paint left to right. With my paints I've used earlier I swirl some designs over the top. And also splatter these colours over the background with a paintbrush.
The photo is matted with a cut out frame from one of the 12 x 12 papers from the Magical AF collection. And the title and other cut out shapes are from the Everyday Etc Cards. A Page Tab has been added to the left of the photo, plus some sticky quotes. on the photo and to the bottom right.
To finish off I used up a couple of my Neon Dots and used my trusty paint pen to draw around some fo the detail.
Thanks for taking a peek into my hectic life.

This Is Home | Rachel Dutko
Hi everyone!
Rachel back with you today with another layout to share.
To create the mixed media background for my page I started by adding
some strips of the "Waves Of Wonder" 12x12 paper
to some white cardstock with some gel medium.
I used a black pen to add detail to the circular lines of the paper.
I then added some flicks of Colour Blast Colour Artist Ink,
and sponged on some Flutter Colour Paint in Orange Goldfish.
The next step was to add some stamping of dark blue acrylic paint
with a "Round Random" Art Foamie stamp.
With the background done, I painted some 'days of the week' wood veneers with black gesso.
I then added some "We Are" Everyday Etc filler cards under my photo.
I fussy cut the house and the word 'home' from some "We Are" Everyday Etc cards.
I cut the 'this is' from a "Happily Ever After" Everyday Etc card.
I've also added an arrow from Charm's Creations, a page tab and a Snippet Strip.
Thanks for looking

Hey Hey Flutterby Friends!!
I’m up today sharing a new 9x12 layout featuring the awesome new Art Foamie Stamps! I seriously love these!! I’ve used the ‘Fill It In’ set of stamps to add both texture and definition to my mixed media background.
I started this page by cutting down a piece of 12x12 of patterned paper from the ‘We Run The World’ collection. I applied some white gesso to create a rough rectangle around the centre of the page, and then applied the art foamies around the edges using black acrylic paint. I also ran some messy stitching around the edge of this rectangle.

I coloured some texture paste and ran this through an old Flutterby Stencil. I really like how this pop of colour connects the foreground with the background. I mounted my photo using some Everyday Etc Cards from the ‘We Run The World’ collection, and the quote next to the photo has also come from one of these cards.
I created my title using Die Cuts Bits and Bobs, and tucked in some page tabs and a flair button around my photo.
To finish off the page, I added some black and pink Flutter Colour splatters, and that was it!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Your Vibe Attracts Your Tribe || by Elisa Ablett
Hi Flutterby Fans,
Elisa here from the design team, back from the Scrapbook and Papercraft Expo in Brisbane, barely unpacked and hitting the ground running so to speak!
I am up on the blog today sharing with you my latest layout featuring all sorts of Flutterby goodies, including the new Fill It In Art Foamies Stamps, Flutter Colour Paint and some past kits and bits and pieces.
Here is a few of the Flutterby Designs Products used : -
flutter-colour-paint-brights-set - yellow and black
Here are some close ups for the finer details.
For the main title, I fussy cut 'your vibe attracts your' from the Creative Chaos range and added a lovely puffy yellow alpha set from my stash.
Underneath the title, I punched different sized circles from white cardstock and then stamped with the Art Foamies stamps using black Flutter Colour Paint.
I also inked around the edges of all the circles and added yellow paint by using a brayer on my background.
I balanced my layout by cutting into an old Hambly Prints Acetate sheet that featured yellow circles. I added strips of Everyday Filler Cards along with a hand carved banana stamp.
Lastly, I fussy cut a pair of scissors from the Creative Chaos range and added a few bits and pieces to add extra interest etc.
That's it from me today, thanks for stopping by the blog and don't forget to visit the shop and blog to say hi !!!
hugs
Elisa x
