Pina Colada Selfie | Sue Plumb

Hi everyone!
It's Sue Plumb here today and I hope you are all having a fabulous Easter break with your families. Today I have a new project to share featuring the fabulous 'Good Vibes Only' collection that was recently released. For this page, I was inspired by the card from the Everyday Etc card set with the quote featuring the words Pina Colada. (I am drawn to anything that involves Pina Coladas actually - they are my fave cocktail!)

I decided to use a small silhouetted photo with the sunset card from the Everyday Etc filler card set as my background and built my page from there. I used a black cardstock background because I wanted to the image on the card to pop. So I reached for my Flutter Colour paints and used a dry brush method to extend the colours from the card out a bit and help them blend.

Once the paint was dry, I added the sunset card on top, then my photo; using some cardboard to give it dimension and separate it a little from the background.

I used another of the Everyday Etc cards to cut the life is short quote from, then stuck it across the top of the sunset card. I also added a sticker from the Sticky Quotes sheet above it and tucked a small pineapple sticker behind it.

For my title, I used the fussy cut Pina Colada words, along with the cocktail glass picture from the same card; and paired it with the selfie die cut word from the Die Cut Bits & Bobs pack.

Alongside the card, I added palm tree from the Wood Veneer Bits set, which I coloured black to tie in with the silhouetted trees on the sunset card.
I also created a small cluster on the edge of my glass (as I had cut off the edge of my glass in the photo, so it was a good way to hide it). I used the pineapple, star and iceblock from the Die Cut Bits & Bobs set; along with the don't worry be happy flair button from flair set #1
To finish off my page, I added a couple of die cut flowers in my hair on the photo for a bit of extra visual interest.

When all that was complete, I backed slowly away from my page, determined to leave it alone. I was really happy with how it looked, and just love how the colours pop from the black background.
Thanks for stopping by today so I could share this with you.
Until next time, happy scrapping!

MARCH GUEST DESIGNER - LAUREN TOMECEK

Hey Flutterby peeps, it's Lauren back again for my last guest design team reveal. I've picked the pineapple themed pieces out of the Good Vibes Only release for this one, because they were just perfect for these photos of our visit to The Big Pineapple on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia.

This card from the Everyday Etc.Cards pack was my inspiration for the whole layout. I loved it as soon as a I saw it. The white space in the top left was perfect for adding a couple of extra embellishments to, plus a splatter of green ink to tie it into the background.

My main embellishment cluster has a page tab and flair from the Good Vibes only range, as well as a fussy cut pineapple from the Everyday Etc.Cards Filler pack. I've used two other cards from that pack to create my photo mat.

Up in the top cluster I've used some off-cuts of the blue Everyday Etc Card from the photo mat plus a sentiment from the Sticky Quick Quotes sheet.

Thanks for checking out my work!
x Lauren

Thanks so much for guesting for Flutterby Lauren <3

Road Trip Vibes by Allara Bamforth

Hello,

I'm back on the blog today with a double treat before long Easter weekend.

My first layout started off with a background I made using my round Gelli Plate. I hadn't used it yet and was just experimenting with some of the Flutter Colour Paint - Grape soda,l Orange Goldfish and Raspberry Punch. Over the top of some of the circles I spondge some Black Mahem through the Migraine Madness Stencil. I then found the a perfect photo to accompany the background and knew that there was some cards within the Good Vibes Collection that would be perfect.

I've used the Good Vibes Only - Everyday Etc Filler Cards and t he Everyday Etc Cards to layer my photo. For my titles I've used the Good Vibes Only Die Cuts Bits and Bobs, Good Vibes Only Wood Veneer Bits and some acrylic letters only available when you purchase the full Good Vibes only collections. A small saying from the Blackboard Sticky Quotes was also added.

I covered my wood veneer bit with the Black mayhem paint and clear embossed over the top. Added some splats of paint over the top and used my white posca pen to define some of the areas.

And because it is Easter I've included another layout using the Good Vibes Collection - kinda of Easter themed (Snapchat Bunny Ears).

Hope you have a great 4 day break and hopefully get some time to scrap. I am planning to! The Good Vibes Collection is getting a great work out from me, so bright and fun.

Till next time.

Allara xx

'Sunshine Vibes' by Rachel Dutko

Hi Flutterby peeps!

Today I am sharing my layout "Sunshine Vibes", using the awesome Good Vibes Only collection.
These are a series of photos of myself and my youngest son enjoying the sunshine in the park.

I used a piece of 'The Straight & Narrow' 12x12 paper as my base and scraped on some Flutter Colour
paint in 'Sunshine Yellow'. Once it was dry I squirted on some 'Tropicana Teal' Flutter Colour paint around in a rough circle.

I matted my photos and my title with some 'Good Vibes Only' Everyday Etc Filler cards.

I added some quotes and a pineapple sticker from the Sticky Quotes sheet.

I added the 'Sunshine' die cut on foam tape for my title, and added the 'VIBES' acrylic letters.
I also added some flowers and small pineapple from the Die Cut Bits And Bobs pack, as well as a flair button.

I've used the following from the Good Vibes Only collection-

Thanks for looking

My Crazy Sunshine Kid | Tamara Buckler

Hey there scrappy friends,

I'm so happy to be sharing with you on the blog again today because I totally love this layout! Its kinda simple, but it has a lot of impact, and is lots of fun. Plus it has helped me get out of a bit 6x4 single photo rut I have been in.

The inspiration for this page came from 'Peace Love Pineapples' card from the new Good Vibes Only Everyday Etc Photo Cards. My 12yo daughter is obsessed with Pineapples for no apparent reason, and this card prompted me to try and find a photo of her and share a bit of her crazy personality.

I matted my photo with a number of pieces from the Everyday Etc Filler Cards, and then worked out the positioning of the Pineapple card and my photo. I then got some white cardstock and stamped all over the centre of the page, making sure some of the stamps framed my main elements. At this point I was going to add some yellow paint, but I loved the crisp black and white, so I left it as is.  I would have loved to have the 'Be A Pineapple' stencil for this layout (because it awesome!), but I haven't got my hands on that one yet!

I built my title around the 'Sunshine' die cut from the Bits and Bobs pack, and then added some random B&W alphas to work in with the rest of my design. I tucked in an XO from Charms Creations, and used some random bits of chipboard for added interest.

To finish the page off I used some White Tiny Sticky Quotes and some White Sticky Quotes randomly around the page.

Thanks for stopping by to check my page out, I hope it gave you a bit of a smile.

Big Loves,
Tam xo

Summer Vibes | Belinda Spencer

Hello Flutterby fans!

Belinda here today to share a layout created with the awesome Good Vibes Only collection. I absolutely love the sweet watermelon elements in this range so I have based my layout around this.

'Summer Vibes' Layout

I just happened to have a photo of my darling daughter when she was much younger pretending to eat a chunk of watermelon like a rabbit. You can't see in the photo but she was wearing fluffy pink bunny ears at the time.
I chose the Neapolitan Notes paper from the 12 x 12 Paper Pack for its gorgeous pink colour for my background paper and swiped some Raspberry Punch Flutter Colour Paint over it using a silicone brush. I added some stamping too using a Darkroom Door stamp that was just perfect for this layout.

Once dry, I added some sweet subtle stencilling using the Little Big Love Stencil and some Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide.

To give my layout a more summery feel I swiped some texture paste over the Aloha Stencil to add some stunning frangipanni flowers. Once dry, I coloured over the top of the flowers using a white paint pen to make them more of a crisp white.

I fussy cut the word Hello from the Hello Summer Photo Card. I love adding fussy cut elements to my layouts as I find fussy cutting quite relaxing. I especially love fussy cutting the photo cards as the knife just glides through the photo paper making it so much easier.
How cute is that little watermelon wood veneer?!! So cute! I added some cute little wood veneer hearts too as well as the the word 'vibes' that I punched out of the Good Vibes Only wood veneer piece.

I finished with some watercolour sticky quotes, a page tab and a sprinkling of the Christmas Enamel Dots. These are my favourite enamel dots as they have a lovely matt finish.

Here's what I used:

Have you had a play with this stunning collection yet? Make sure you share your beautiful work with us in the Flutterby Inspiration HQ Facebook Group so we can leave some love.

Good Vibes Only | Sue Plumb

Hi Flutterby peeps!
Sue Plumb here to share my latest design team project with you, and my very first one using the brand new 'Good Vibes Only' collection. This range is super fun - packed with colour, patterns and sweet summer motifs - perfect for scrapping all those fun holiday snaps.
I chose to document a photo of my hubby, my boys and I at the beach during the Christmas holidays.

I started this page with one of the 12x12" sheets from the 'Good Vibes Only' Paper Pack. The one I used was called 'Salty Seas' and has a beautiful blue watercolour pattern. I decided to add a bit more colour though, so I grabbed my Flutter Colour paints and added some 'Bahama Blue'; 'Aquamarine Dream' and a few small highlights of 'Cotton Candy Pink' for contrast.

The paint colours worked perfectly with the gorgeous tropical pattern on the Everyday Etc cards I chose to use. (Luckily there is one of these cards in both the 'Good Vibes Only' Everyday Etc Card pack and the coordinating Filler Card pack, and I could resist using both of them!)
Once I had my cards stuck down, I added my photo on top, using another filler card to add a pop of yellow to frame under the top right corner.

I created a small cluster in the top right corner of my photo using a couple of flowers from the 'Good Vibes Only' Die Cut Bits & Bobs pack; a leaf sticker from the Sticky Quotes sheet; and the tan lines flair button from the GVO Flair Button Set #2

My title came from the Die Cut Bits & Bobs pack, along with the leaves and flower I clustered below it. On my background I also added some small pieces of torn washi tape from the washi tape tag included in the 'Good Vibes Only' Full Collection Kit. (There are 5 different designs included on the tag.)

The final cluster I created was to the left of my photo. I fussy cut the beach selfie piece from one of the Everyday Etc cards; and tucked a die cut flower under the corner. I then added two of the phrase stickers from the Sticky Quotes sheet, and another one at the top of my page.

And with that, my page was complete. I so love how this turned out - that tropical print is so divine (and such a perfect match for the colours in my tattoo!)
If you haven't seen all the new goodies in the shop, head over HERE and check them out. (Besides the 'Good Vibes Only' collection, there are also some fabulous new stencils!)

Until next time, happy scrapping!
