Independence | Allara Bamforth

Good Morning,

I'm back on the blog today with a whimsical design featuring the 'Parent of the Year' collection.

As I like making my own backgrounds, I've used the Flutter Colour Paint to brush some full strokes up the centre of my black card, using colours from the Brights Set. With the 'Migraine Madness' stencil I've sponged some paint through towards the sides of my brushed middle. Using the 'Round Randoms' Art foamies stamps I've stamped a few designs using some of my left over paint as well.

My photo is of my daughter on a swing, so using watered down Artic White, I drawn  myself a tree to hang her swing from.

As usual I've matted my photo with cards from the Everday Etc Filler cards and used the Everday Etc Cards for a title which I've anchored to a sign post from a strip of offcut from the 12 x 12 paper from the We Are Collection. I've once again splattered some of the left over paint around, cause it always looks good on black background and finished off with some Puffy Heart Stickers on the leaves I've drawn with my Posca Pen.

Thanks for taking the time to check this out, as always links back to the products on the Website.

Lessons from a Unicorn | Allara Bamforth

Happy Unicorn Day,

I'm up on the blog today with fabulous lessons from unicorn!

For my background today I've cut circles from 12 x 12 paper Precious Gems from Magical AF and Dream on Love from Happily Ever After. My other circles were painted with Flutter colour paint in Cotton Candy Pink and Raspberry Punch with a little Artic Snow blended in.

The photos are matted with various desings from the Everyday Etc Filler Cards from the Magical AF collection. From the Everyday Etc cards I have cut my title 'Lessons from a Unicorn' as well as the 'lessons and mounted them down the side of my photo.

To finish off I have cut a Page Tab from Magical AF for the top of the photos and down in the bottom left have added a flair button with some fluffy threads in co-ordainting colours. I've added a few Puffy Hearts and a unicorn from the Die Cut Bibs and Bobs.

Thanks for checkin out this weeks blog.

Dreams | Allara Bamforth

Happy Monday!

I can't believe we are already in May. Time really goes quickly these days in our busy lives.

Today's layout features the Magical AF collection with a cute photo I captured of my niece whilst she was daydreaming on the couch. I thought the title from one of the Magical AF Everyday Etc Cards was perfect for the photo 'Little girls with Dreams become women with vision'.

For this layout, I actually did everything back to front. Normally I would put together my background using some mixed media etc and then build the photo layers from there. This time I layered my photo first and stuck that all together. My photo is layered in various designs from the Magical AF Everyday Etc Cards and to this I added my title, which happened to be the first thing I picked out to accompany my photo.

I've then cut half a piece of We are Family 12 x 12 paper 'I'll Keep You'. To this piece I used some feathered brushstrokes of Flutter Colour Paint in Artic White and also used the Migraine Madness stencil with the white paint. Next I've taken the Sugar Sprinkes stencil and dabbed the Tropicana Teal through on the 'I'll Keep You' paper tand then carried that over to my white background cardstock.

Once this had dried I stuck it all together. I felt I need some more pink to tie in the design, so I added some splatters of Raspberry Punch to the top and bottom of the page..

From the Sticky Quick Quotes I scattered acround some hearts and the rainbow and cloud. Because you can never have enough hearts I've also added a few Puffy Heart Stickers. The Magic title is one of the Die Cut Bibs and Bobs.

Thanks for taking a peek of my layout this Monday morning. I hope you all have a fabulous week.

watered-down gesso to emulate the galaxy  Everyday Etc filler cards.
I also added some hot pink splatters.

I added a cut file from Cut To You, layered over some Everyday Etc filler cards.

I have used the amazing 'magical' acrylic piece as my title.

I also cut the 'Our Life Story' and 'Beautiful' phrases from some Everyday Etc cards.

I added some glitter dots, puffy hearts, a sticker, a page tab
as well as a heart from Charm's Creations.

Make your life Magical AF | Tamara Buckler

Hey Hey Scrappy Friends,

I'm back today sharing another fun layout using the new Magical AF collection. This time I decided to use cut he 'Mysterious' paper from the 12x12 Paper Pack as my focus, and cut it out on my Silhouette using a Cut File from CUT to YOU.

I love how this Cut File allows this paper to be the hero of this page, and almost by taking away sections of the paper, it allows the intricacy and detail of the paper stand out even more. I popped each circle up on double sided tape to emphasise this, and added some whites splatters to  connect the background to the foreground.

At this point, I didn't want to do too much more to the page, so I just worked on adding my title and my photo cluster. I used the gorgeous 'magical' metallic acrylic as the main element here, and used a die cut and the 'AF' cut from an Everyday Etc Card to complete the title.  I also added in Charm's Creations heart and a Flair Button to balance this out.

I layered up a heap of Everyday Etc Filler Cards behind my photo, using foam tape between some of the layers. I also tucked a couple of page tabs in at the top of my photo.

To finish things off  I added some Puffy Heart Stickers and another Flair Button to the front of my pic, and some metallic ink splatters over the photo and the page.

Thanks for stopping by to check out my page. Make sure you're sharing your creations using the Magical AF collection over in our FB group.

Until next time,
Big Loves,
Tam xo

Magical AF | Allara Bamforth

Happy Hump Day!

Today I have a layout using the new collection 'Magical AF'. What a fun collection this is and I found the perfect snapchat selfie to use with this layout.

I started off with the fabulous 12 x 12 paper 'The Sky's the Limit' and because I was using mostly blue and pink elements on this page, I smooshed a little Picked Raspberry Oxide ink on my mat and splattered this beneath where my photo would go. Next I used Flutter Colur Paint in Artic White to splatter over the pink as well. I then added some gel medium through the Star Mini Stencil beneath my photo and while it was still wet, I sprinkled over some Bridal Tinsel embossing powder and heat set with my heat gun. This gave a great sparkly effect that added some interest to the back ground.

My photo is matted with various background designs from the Every Day Etc Filler Cards Magical AF collection and I've also added some cut outs from the Everyday Etc cards. From the Filler Cards I've die cut some wings to suit the page and added a Page Tab to the top.

To finish the page off I've used some the gorgeous new embellishments including a Flair Button from the Magical AF Set 2, the gorgeous unicorn paper clip from the Full Collection Kit, the sparkly Puffy Heart Stickers and jewels and the epic Magical Mettalic Arylic Title.

Thanks for taking a peek! I've linked all the new products back to the shop - make sure you grab some before they sell out.

Make Your Life Magical | Rachel Dutko

Hi everyone!
Rachel back with you today with my first page
using the brand new 'Magical AF' collection.

As soon as I opened the new kit, I was immediately drawn to the
Secret Garden 12x12 paper
and knew I wanted to fussy cut all the flowers.
It took a while, but I'm so happy with the result!

I chose to use black cardstock as my base, so the bright colours of the flowers
could really jump off the page.

To create my background I added some Flutter Colour Paint in
Tropicana Teal with a dry brush,
then added some splatters straight from the bottle.
I then added some Colour Blast 'Royalty' Colour Paste through a Halftone stencil.

I added some stickers from the Sticky Quotes sheet, as well as a unicorn

I didn't need to add too many embellishments, as the bright fussy-cut flowers
make a grand statement all on their own.

I fussy cut the word 'magical' from an Everyday Etc card, then matted it
onto white cardstock, and again fussy cut and inked the edges.
I also added an Everyday Etc card under my photo.

I raised my title word up on some cardboard for more dimension.

I added layers of cardboard under my flowers too,
to add more dimension to the flower clusters.
