Dear Santa | Rachel Dutko

Hi everyone!
Well we are nearing the Christmas season, and I have
a cute layout to share with you today.

I have decided to scrap the letter my son wrote to Santa for Christmas last year.

I have used a Fair Dinkum Chrissy Everyday Etc filler card under my photo.

I have added some Fair Dinkum Chrissy wood veneer bits around my page.
I painted the 'Santa' piece black for my title, as well as some stars.

I have used some Christmas enamel dots , a page tab and some super cute
pieces from the Fair Dinkum Chrissy Die Cut Bits & Bobs pack.

Keep your eyes peeled for a brand new collection release later in the week!!

Thanks for looking
Rachel x x

Vibes | Belinda Spencer

Hello Flutterby peeps!

Belinda here today to share a layout featuring the Good Vibes Only collection.

'Vibes'

I have used one of the fabulous 12 x 12 papers in this collection for the base of this layout. I am just loving that gorgeous pink! The good news is these papers are still available in the shop HERE. Be quick and grab them while they last!!

I swiped a little gesso over the background with a palette knife to form the central area where my photo and all of the bits and pieces would sit.

I chopped up some of the Everyday Etc Filler Cards in the range and added those before adding my photo with a little 3D foam. Keeping the foam just in the middle of the photo back allows me to then slip lots of cute die-cuts, page tabs and other elements around the sides.

I love the die-cut leaves and flamingo in this range as well as the cute stickers. I like to add the stickers to white cardstock first to strengthen them so that I can use them as embellishments.

I finished with some Tickets, fussy cut arrows from a filler card, an 'awesome' flair button and a fabulous acrylic word.

Here's what I used:

- Tickets 'Bright'

'This is Our Happily Ever After' by Allara Bamforth

Happy Sunday!

Today's layout uses some photos from my beautiful parent's 50th Wedding Anniversary Celebrations back in April.

I started off by cutting some triangle shapes from the 12x12 paper 'Drunk on Love' from the Happily Ever after collection. Through the middle of the white cardstock background with the 'Sugar Sprinkles' Stencil I added some transparent gloss texture paste. Once that is dry I've pulled out my trusty Distress Oxide inks and just randomly added them with water over the top and once dry, flicking some of the watercolour over top as well.

My next job was to mount the photos with 'Everyday etc cards' from the Happily Ever Collection as well as couple of co-ordinating colours from the Flawsome range. I also used these to cut out the cute little couple as seen above. The title for the page is also from the Happily Every after Everyday Etc Cards, which have been carefully/ not so carefully cut out :)

I added a Page Tab from the Happily Ever After Collection, as well as some stickers from the Happily Ever After Story Quotes and Tiny White Qutoes.  To round out the embellishments I've added a Flair Button from the Happily Ever Collection, some Washi Tape - that can only be found in the Happily Ever After May 2018 Kit, some Neon Enamel dots and last but not least some Wood Veneer Hearts from the Happily Ever Collection, that I have coloured in black.

Before I stuck it all down, I decided that the edge of the papers needed some definition and I've used an Aall and Create Stamps down both sides as well as inked the edge of the page in black. It is such a fun layout to capture a gorgeous day and to celebrate this major milestone. I hope my mum and dad don't mind being stars of the blog for this week!

Till next post,

Allara

Together Love by Allara Bamforth

Hello and Happy Saturday!

I'm back on the blog today with a layout using the wonderful 'This is Our Happily Ever After' Collection. I hope you snap up this collection, it is such a bright and fun range of goodies, perfect for scrapping you and your significant other. It is complete with all the good humour and a few naughty quotes that we all know and love.

For today's layout I have picked a special photo of my husband and I from January this year, where we went on our first holiday ALONE in 19 years. We had such fab time - and the best part was I decided that I still liked him even after our 26 years together. This photo is of Cradle Mountain in Tasmania and it was just one of the most beautiful places I've been to and it also was taken on our wedding anniversary.

I picked the 12 x 12 paper 'I'll Keep You' from the Happily Ever After collection, because the cool geometric shapes reminded me of Cradle Mountain. I ended up cutting across the geometric shapes on this paper to separate two pieces which I've inked in black ink and layed over each other, also cutting a small strip for the opposite edge. Using the Fragmented Stencil I've added some texture with some glitter gel from Faber Castell to fit in with geometric design.

I've used three of my favourite Tim Holtz oxide inks to create so colour in the white space and also to tie in with matted pieces. To layer my photo I've used the 'Happily Ever After' Filler Cards and also cut some extra triangle shapes to added some interest. There is some fantastic Washi Tape in the 'Happily Ever After' May 2018 kit and I have the the xo xo along the bottom to match some of the filler cards.

I then used my black pen to draw some stitch lines and stamp a cute heart border and some script to finish it off.  I've cut the 'Love Banner' from the Frame 51'Happily Ever After' and a Page Tab from 'Happily Ever After' Page Tabs. The 'you're the only person I cant stand for longer than 4 hours' is from the 'Happily Ever After' 12 x 12 Paper called 'What makes us Work'. This is finished off with a title 'Together' form the 'Happily Ever After wood veneer bits' which I've first embossed with Colourblast Envy and then clear embossed of the top of that again. Last but not least I've added a Flair from Happily Ever After Flair Button 1.

Thanks for stopping by and see you next time with another love filled layout.

Till next post,

Allara xx

Barefoot + Free by Allara Bamforth

Hello!

Excited to back on the Flutterby Blog this month with the fabulous new 'Good Vibes' collection. I attended a scrapbooking retreat last weekend and was so thrilled to be able to whip out so many pages with this collection because it is so fun and versatile.

I have some beautiful beach photos from our holiday in January and have used this next one in particular as the water at the beach was the most amazing aqua I had ever seen! I really wanted to incorporate these colours into my layout.

I've selected a 12 x 12 watercolour paper base page - as I like how the dylusions inks and lindy's gang inks sit and flow on it and covered the left hand side with clear transparent gloss medium of the new Aloha Stencil. I picked some of my favourite colours to complement the photo from the above mentioned inks.

I have used some Flutterby Paint to sponge throught the Aloha stencil to create some extra accents. Then I've used a variety of embellishments from the Good Vibes collection as listed below.

Good Vibes Only - Filler Cards, Every Day Etc Cards.
Good Vibes Only - Every Day Etc Cards.
Good Vibes Only - Die Cuts Bits and Bobs.
Good Vibes Only - Flair Buttons Set 1
Good Vibes Only - Wood Veneer Bits
Washi Tape from the Good Vibes Full Kit Collection
Blackboard Sticky Quotes

Thanks for checking in and I hope you go and grab yourself some of this awesome collection.

Till next time,

Allara

Shine, by Ros Madley

Today is the day I share my last page as a Flutterby design team member.  It's been an awesome year with lots of fabulous collections being released and today I'm using what has to be up the top of my list of favourites ♥, We Run the World.

My page started with the Bright Like a Diamond stencil, which is probably my most used Flutterby Designs stencil.

I then thought it was perfect to cut the word 'shine' from the Everyday Etc cards.  I've also added a few shapes among my cluster from these cards.   Topped them off with a flair button.

Some Raspberry Punch Flutter Colour Paint was used to cover the heart from the We Run the World wood veneer bits.

I've added some Tiny Sticky Quotes and another little heart, this time a die cut from the Bits and Bobs pack.

I hope you've been inspired.
It's been an awesome year and I've loved sharing with you all.

Your are Loved, with Ros Aggett-Madley

Hello everyone, back again today with another page freaturing the Flawsome range.

My background is a mix of gelli printing and stamping.

I've used different cards and elements from the Everyday Etc Cards to layer up a photo stack.

The Flutterby Wood Veneer have been coloured with a Sharpie.  So quick and easy and no dry time.

I've used one of my favourite flair buttons and a sprinkle of Futterby Enamel Dots.  The cirlces in the background have been stamped on and cut from some Everyday Etc Cards.

This wood veneer was also coloured with a Sharpie, has a bit of a wood look still.

Hope you've been inspired ♥

Be Happy, with Ros Madley

My first share for September.  Welcome Spring!!
Although the normally beautiful Geelong has decided to extend Winter.

For this page I have used more of the gorgeous Flawsome Collection, again the page created with a different theme to the design of the cards.

I started out with just a random spread of Sunshine Yellow Flutter Colour Paint.  Super bright!
Added a little splash of Black Mahem Flutter Colour to the top of this once dry.

I followed the shape of some of the cards for the chevron cut outs and have just layered different cards to use underneath my photo. I find the easiest way to do this is to staple them together.  Less messy than glue and easier to tuck pieces in.

My title is a wood veneer from the Flawsome wood veneer bits.  This has been coloured with Black Mayhem Flutter Colour.
And a few enamel dots to finish off the page.

Hope you've been inspired ♥

Flawsome Planner Phanatic | Belinda Spencer

Hello Flutterby Peeps!

Belinda here today to share 'a week in the life of' in my planner. I managed to get my hands on the fabulous Flutterby Planner Phanatic Limited Edition Kit to decorate my planner and combined it with a little Flawsome too.

First of all I had to wait for a week when I was actually doing something fun!!

Here's a peek at the kit.

I chopped up some of the Flawsome Filler Photo Cards to decorate the headers, footers and in between the days.

I went crazy with all sorts of stickers and page tabs.

I added some stamping using planner stamps that I already had in my stash.

I had a bit of diluted Flutter Colour Paint left over from another project so I flicked that over the pages to tie it all together. The paper in my planner is not the best quality so it's best not to add too much water to it. Just a few flicks here and there didn't hurt it too much.

The wood veneer bits and pieces were just placed there for photo purposes only. I like to keep things pretty flat in my planner so it doesn't cause problems writing on the other side of the page.

I chopped up one of the cards from the Blank Palette Everyday Etc Photo Cards to add strips of arrows. Sometimes it's nice to break up all of the colour with a little black and white.

And there is my planner spread! The good news is I have heaps of that kit left to do several more planner spreads. I just need to wait for something else a little more interesting than my regular old boring life. LOL

Thanks for stopping by the blog! If you have the Planner Phanatic kit I would love to see what you did with it in your own planner. Make sure you share in the Flutterby Inspiration HQ Facebook group.

Cheers
Belinda
