2019 Project Life- Chrissi M

Hello Lovelies,
I finally decided to start my 2019 Project Life. Yes, I know, we are in April lol, but its a start.

I have decided to use some of my Flutterby Designs Stash to do my project life. This spread was made using mostly bits and pieces from the Xtreme Teen Collection- One of my faves.

For my title card, I used the Xtreme Teen Filler Cards, and the Week Variety Wood Veneer Pack
This is my week 4, and there are alot of  photos that suited this theme. There was soccer clinic adventures, car break downs, lots of fun stuff that worked well with this collection.
Throughout the spread, I used alot of the Xtreme Teen Wood Veneer bits. They worked so well for the layout.
I also recently rediscovered my pouch full of  Fluterby Sticker Sheets. OMG how I love these. There are all different ones, I love the sticky Quotes, and the icons that come with each collection. I love the attitude of the Flutterby Designs Collections.
I have also got a process video up on youtube for this Project Life spread, if you wanted to see more of how I put this together, and learn more about the Flutterby Products I've used. Hope you stop by and check it out.

You Rock || Bernii Miller

Helllooooo

Bernii here with you today with what I created with the new Magical AF collection which is still available in the store. I am LOVING this collection and all the dreamy colours that Anita created with this one.

So let me show you what I have created.

I have a ton of photos here that I need to get scrapping on, so to bulldoze through them all the quickest way that I can I have decided to get back into my project life.

So the 6x4 and 3x4 Magical AF filler cards worked a treat to get this spread done quickly .

I added some bit and pieces from the die cuts bits and pieces set and I wish I had 20 of these packets as all the pieces are so darn cute!!

Well thanks so much for stopping by today!!

I hope you find some time to get crafty.

Till next time

Much love
Bernii xx

Kick A$# My Boy-Chrissi Mannix

Hi Lovelies, Chrissi back today sharing a Project Life insert from my 2018 album.
The thing I love most about the Flutterby Designs Collections, is the attitude. I love how Anita infuses this kick ass attitude with such awesome designs, and that attitude is just perfect for this awesome experience we had last year.
As I was going through the Xtreme Teen Every Day Etc cards, I was seeing some awesome quotes and icons that were perfect for my sons District Cross Country insert I was doing in my project life album.
In 2018, my son had an amazing experience in school sports and athletics due to the Athletes with Disabilities program, meaning he competed against other athletes with similar challenges as himself, instead of other boys his own age, that he cant quite keep up with. So this meant, for the first time, he actually went through to the district carnival. Which was such a big thing for him. It was an amazing experience.
This card here, from the Every Day Etc cards was my favorite and probably the reason I chose this collection for this spread lol. It sums it up pretty perfectly.

Honestly, usually I'm not a frame person. I tend to struggle with them, but this one from the Photo Cut Outs sheet was too perfect to use on this photo. It highlights my boy and works with all the open space I have in the photo. I was happy to be able to use one lol. The veneer from the wood veneer bits pack was just perfect to embellish  my layout. I love the raw wood, and how it works, especially when working with 'boy' layouts.

I love how this Project Life Insert came together, and how perfect this collection was for it. I hope you enjoyed my project, and cant wait to share some new projects with you real soon.

You're My Sunshine & Summer Fun | Sue Plumb

Hello Flutterby friends & fans!
Sue Plumb here today to share TWO projects with you that I created with the recently released 'Good Vibes Only' collection - a layout AND a pocket page! The layout was actually created for this month's challenge at Scrap the Girls, which just happens to be sponsored by Flutterby Designs - yay! I thought what better way to document lots of photos from this fun day out at a music festival with my best friend, than by creating a complimentary pocket page to sit alongside it in my album.

Here's a look at the layout first...

I used the gorgeous 'Ray of Sunshine' paper from the 'Good Vibes Only' 12x12" paper pack as the base; then I cut a variety of pieces from the coordinating Everyday Etc cards and filler cards, and arranged them in a patchwork style on my page. I then used my sewing machine to add some subtle stitching before adding my photo on top.

On top of my layers, I added a couple of phrase stickers from the 'Good Vibes Only' Sticky Quote sheet, which I also then stitched over the top of. Above those, I added a Charms Creations heart.
I also added the fuck I love you babe quote sticker from the 'Mad About You' Sticky Quotes sheet directly onto my photo.

My title was created using the sunshine word from the 'Good Vibes Only' Die Cut Bits & Bobs pack, combined with you're my cut from a white Tiny Sticky Quote. I also added the stitching through the die cut word to tie in with the rest of my page.

I used the little pina colada image from one of the Everyday Etc cards, and HAD to use the super cute pina colada flair button alongside it. (Pina Coladas are my absolute favourite cocktail and my bestie and I have shared MANY of them together, so it had extra significance putting it on this page.)

As I mentioned earlier I had many more photos from this day I wanted to document and I was having waaay too much fun with this collection too, so I moved on to creating a complimentary pocket page.

When working with pocket pages, I always start by printing the photos I want to include and laying them out on top of the pockets. I had already looked through all the Everyday Etc cards and filler cards from the collection and sorted a pile that coordinated; so it was simply a matter of trying them out and finding an arrangement I was happy with before I started sticking things down.

Some of the additional Flutterby items I used in my pockets included Sticky Quotes (from both the 'Good Vibes Only' and 'Xtreme Teen' sheets); Blackboard Sticky Quotes; 'Good Vibes Only' Die Cut Bits & BobsTeal Sticky Alphas; and Rainbow Heart Stickers.

I also used one of the super cool acrylic words that comes in the 'Good Vibes Only' Kit; along with a few enamel dots (because enamel dots go with evvverything, right?!)

I was really happy with how this fun page turned out; and it served as a great reminder that I need to make this sort of complimentary page more often for my album. It's fabulous (and easy) way to include multiple photos on a spread.

If you missed out on the 'Good Vibes Only' range when it was released, never fear, there is still some left! Head over to the Flutterby Designs shop and grab it while you can - such a fun collection to document your summer memories!

Thanks for stopping by today so I could share these projects with you. If you would like to play along with this month's Scrap the Girls challenge for your chance to win a Flutterby Designs prize, head over to the STG blog HERE and check out the details.
Until next time, happy scrapping!

Project Life with Adele *NEW HAPPILY EVER AFTER COLLECTION!*

Hello lovelies!!

I am so excited to begin working with the fab new collection "Happily Ever After" and dived in immediately to work on some of my Project Life pages.

I used lots of the stickers this week to act as journaling on my pocket cards. The tiny word stickers come in handy when you just want to add a tiny little detail to a photo.

I used some of the enamel dots and an Everyday Etc card to create a simple filler card with a tiny bit of journaling. There's so many colour choices in the Everyday Etc cards and filler cards so it's easy to find a card that will coordinate with your photos for each week. I decided to keep this particular one quite neutral and added brighter cards to the top and bottom rows instead.

I really enjoy adding the page tabs behind my photos, especially with very busy photos or photos that don't have a lot of blank space (like the one below of Archie's GIANT head hehe!).

I hope you enjoy this little Project Life page, I will be back in a couple of weeks with my first layout and process video using the "Happily Ever After" collection. Have you started using the collection yet??

Adele :)

Show Time by Lauren Hender

Hi Everyone!
Welcome back to the Fluttery Designs blog.

Today I am sharing a project life stay layout using some fabulous Flutterby goodies. On Boxing Day last year my family and I decided to go to a local annual show. It was a great night, we had fun and I took some fabulous photos of the kids having fun. What can be challenging though is scrapbooking night time or dark photos. Fluttery has this sorted though producing a number of themed cards that suit the darker or night time shots.

In this layout I have used some Everyday Etc Cards, Flutterby Speech bubbles, and the signature Flutterby flairs. Flutterby makes scrapbooking project life easy. There bold colours and titles make for a layout that draws peoples attention.

The Project Life page protectors are also wonderful. They allow the pockets to hold a bit of bulk which makes them perfect for Flutterby Flairs.

I hope this layout inspires you to pull out your sets of Everyday Etc cards and create some quick and easy project life layouts.

Lauren xo
